I joined the SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photography) earlier this year. It’s always good to be a member of a professional society, it’s another way of keeping up to date on the industry, networking and so on. They run a monthly competition which I’ve been entering as a way to get professional feedback on my work from some of the worlds leading photographers. This month I got awarded my first Gold Award! 🙂 Needless to say I’m chuffed as these are hard to come by. The winning photograph was in the Landscape category.
I also won 3 Silver Awards and 7 Bronze Awards so it was a good month! This brings the total for this year to 1 Gold, 6 Silvers and 17 Bronzes. Below are the photographs which won the Silver Awards.
