Marie and Phil got married in St. Munchin’s church in Limerick. Afterwards, we popped across the Shannon to take some photographs in King John’s castle. The reception was held in the Strand Hotel.
Phil is a talented photographer so the pressure was on, and it was great to be asked to document their day. We had a lot of fun and we even managed to get a few photography related photographs taken too! These are some of my favourites from the day.Marie & Phil live very close to the church where they got married so I couldn’t resist taking a few photographs with their house in the background. After the ceremony the bridal party and I went to King John’s Castle to get some fun photographs of the newly married bride and groom.I picked up an old camera on ebay to use as a prop because Phil has a keen interest in photography. The mirror within the camera was great at combining more than one element of the story. The best man had prepared a hillarious video for the speeches. It was honestly the most laughing I’ve seen at a wedding! Thanks again to Marie and Phil for asking me to come along and document their day. It was a lot of fun – I really enjoyed it!
