The wonderful Alanagh was our first model for a high fashion shoot recently in the fabulous surroundings of the Adare Manor. The dresses were by local designer Marion Murphy Cooney who has just opened a new shop in Limerick city. They were fab. If you are on the lookout for dresses for a wedding then I’d recommend you check her work out.
The headpieces are by Suzie Mahony and they were intricately detailed. My aim for these shots was to have variety so that everyone involved got something out of it.
Makeup on the day was by Sarah Hamilton and the hair stylist was the wonderful Sarah Hickey.
As usual, I tried to do something a little different towards the end of the shoot. For this final shot I was going for a 1920’s movie feel (but in colour, I couldn’t lose that red lipstick to black and white!). It was shot in the bar so it was a tricky location to use but I’m very happy with how it turned out.
It was a great day. Jody and Dave were my shooting partners in crime and a big thanks goes out to the Adare Manor for being so accommodating.
