Loving… adventuring! My wife and I took off for Inis Oirr at the weekend. The weather forecast was predicted to be great, but I don’t think Inis Oirr got the memo! It was a sort of a miserable, bleak, grey adventure! čśë The boat trip was choppy and within seconds of leaving Doolin Pier we were soaked. A couple of cups of tea on Inis Oirr and we were defrosted enough to go for a walk around the island. I’m going to be honest, it’s a rock with lots of rocks on it – BUT if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and slow down for a while it’s a great place to go. The locals are friendly, the tea is hot and the pace is slow.

Laughing… at this video which shows how to wrap a cat for Christmas… (Apologies for mentioning Christmas in September! This video popped up on my facebook stream during the week and I thought it was funny. There’ll be no more talk of Christmas now, d’you hear me?!)
